the ultimate advertising tool and the ultimate tool of
temptation.

Dine by candle light but propose in
daylight!

unbelievable, as it moves from the unexplainable, to the irreplaceable, all,

Would it not be a surprise if Jesus came
back on Christmas? ...No one would be expecting Him.
Christmas is more than, buying something
for someone else, hoping that they buy you something better.
Better to do too much good, than too
little; better to do too little good than none at all.
In your hands today are twenty-four hours
that will be invested or wasted but either must explained in Eternity.
Too often at Christmas, Santa is not the
only who ends up in the red!
Christmas is when you spend too much, and
give too much, to make an impression on someone you don't like.
Having all of your ducks in a row, means
that you have too much time on your hands.
The focus of your life, become the passion
of your life.
To be truly right one must have a right
attitude.
Passion and enthusiasm disperse boredom and
apathy.
Taking chances
and exercising faith are not the same thing.
For the
good of others be patient, and for the good of
yourself be more patient.

We are back
for the cabin. Seanna, Caroline, Aunt Barb, and
John were there for a few days and Sandi, Brian,
Gabby, and Ben were there for several weeks. It
was a grand experience.
We are off
to the cabin for the a few weeks so will not be
able to keep the thoughts for the day going as I
do not have the computer software there. I will
be able to answer emails when I visit the
library two or three times a week. Have a great
summer break. Stay happy on the inside the
outside will eventually catch up!

Today is my birthday who would have guessed it; when I lay dieing, by
all accounts, those many years ago. The doctors had told my parents over 20
times that I would not live through the night.
Reverend Brinkman, a Christian and Missionary Alliance minister, and some of
my family came into my hospital room to pray for my healing. When Reverend
Brinkman asked the doctor if he could pray for me the doctor said " you had
better hurry he only has about fifteen minuets to live."
As they prayed Reverend Brinkman said. "There is a hindrance to our prayers
is there an unbeliever here?" One of my relativities said that they didn't
believe healing was possible. Reverend Brinkman asked that person to leave
and then began to pray again. Fifteen minuets later I was sitting up in bed
asking for something to eat. Praise God!!!
Just got back from Tennessee the fall colors are beautiful up there. The
cabin is almost finished and it is wonderful!

busy asking for mercy, forgiveness, strength for whatever might come my way.
I may be overcome with sorrows or pain in the days to come. Less somehow,
I get distracted by the issues that might be there tomorrow, I thank you again

I will be in Tennessee for the next several
days, so no new entries until I get back Tuesday March 22. They put the
upper floor on this week. I will meet with the builder and other
subcontractors Monday morning. I will be staying with my 90 year old parents
that still drive, go out to eat, and generally enjoy life. What a
blessing!

God is thrilled when you allow Him to pour
His Grace into your life.
They built the retaining wall this week. 2/21-25/05 This
wall runs from the basement garage door out 20 feet or so. It separates
the upper level, where the back porch is, from the lower garage area. It is sort
of a buffer between the upper road and the lower road. The basement is finished
except for the flood. They leave that until last to allow for any
settlement before pouring the floors.
If you can't say something nice, have the
decency to be vague.
No man is really a failure until he gives
up on himself.
A boy or a girl does what they want to do,
a man or a woman does what they ought to do.
Too many people credit themselves for their
success and blame God for their failures.

If God had left me in my comfort zone, I would have never
experience the extreme blessings of the new walk.
I found that I really did not want God as
much as I desperately needed Him.
Always be more thankful for what you have
in your heart, than what you have in your wallet.
Learn to be as thankful for what God is
going to do as you are for what He has done.
When you have the springs, of the joy of
God, spring up in your soul, you have less need for comfort and little room for
despair.
Learn to budget before you spend rather
than after.
The more you know something to be true, the
less Faith you will need to maintain that thought.
The maid was asked to serve the guest she
knew the Jones didn't like, and she asked. "I have leaned to serve both
ways which would you like?" "What do you mean?" Mrs. Jones asked.
"Either I can serve them so they want to come back or so they will want to stay
away." She replied. Too many churches
consider the same options.

experiencing God can make a friend of your heart.

You need to settle in your mind and heart that outward
failure does not mean inward failure. You will likely have to settle this
question over and over again during your life's journey.
All you really need to overcome
discouragement is a good "Faith Lift".
You will want to learn that Faith is a bigger word than
either success or failure.
Failure is going through life earning nothing but money.
Success is doing the will of God regardless of what you
earn.
Worry is one of the darkrooms where Satan
develops your negatives.
Until you realize how wicked you are; you
only continue in your deception. When you repent of your darkness is when light
begins to reign over your life and goodness replaces that wickedness that once
engulfed your soul. This is spiritual freedom.
Your heart should be broken by sin and
healed by forgiveness to be useful in your daily walk.
A healed broken heart is your best weapon
against all enemies of your soul, and the best tool to touch other lives.

Today is my father's 90th birthday! What a blessing
and inspiration he is to me!
