This is the upstairs fireplace. It is set in the middle for the remote control if the remote does not work then move switch to right and fireplace will start. If you turn it back to automatic and try the remote sometimes it will work. You may have to point to this switch to get it to work. After a few time of switching back and forth the remote should work. If not you can turn it on and off by hand.
